Aflit Nuryulia Praswati, Dicky Suryoko

Abstract

This research aims to explore the effect of Perceived Authenticity on the overall loyalty of SoloRaya ecotourism destinations. As well as knowing the effect of Postmodern Authenticity on the formation of Perceived Authenticity. This research will also discuss how these characteristics further influence the behavior of tourists to re-visit and promote word of mouth. This research used a self-administered questionnaire to collect data on visitors to the SoloRaya ecotourism destination. The sample used was 200 respondents who had visited the SoloRaya ecotourism destination with data processing tools using the SPSS 24 application. The results of this research were that most visitors to SoloRaya ecotourism destinations were tourists who aimed to find relaxation, including getting out of routine and spending time with friends and family. In addition, it is known that tourists consider authenticity to be the most important attribute in a tour. Although various studies have been conducted in the past regarding tourist destination loyalty, this research is the first to reveal the influence of tourist perceptions of authenticity in accommodating motivation, interactions and experiences of tourists which will then increase destination loyalty. In addition, this research also reveals the influence of postmodernism in influencing tourists' perceptions of a concept of authenticity of tourist destinations.
