The Role of Motivation as Mediation in the Relationship between Communication and Work Discipline on Employee Performance

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Effect of Communication and Work Discipline on Employee Performance with Mediation as Work Motivation in the Regional Financial Board of Boyolali Regency. The sample in this research amounted to 86 employees of the Boyolali District Financial Board using a questionnaire for data collection. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling method. The data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research indicate that: 1) Communication and work discipline have a significant influence on work motivation. 2) Communication and work discipline have an influence on employee performance. 3) Motivation can mediate the relationship of communication and work discipline to performance.
